Party in the Park
Hello
Today, a local church (Evangel Church) put on “Party in the Park”. “Party in the Park” took place in Centennial Park, in our town. This was a 100% FREE mini carnival. There was also a stage where local talent was showing off. This party was to celebrate that school is (almost) out and celebrate the summers beginning. This is their second year doing this, and we went last year also. When we play the carnival games, we get tickets for prizes. We can cash in different amounts of tickets for different prizes. I got a minute, yellow water gun for 25 tickets, and a neat “Tic-Tac-Toe” game. I really enjoyed it there!

Tests AGAIN
tests to do, but weren’t related to FSA testing. We had to do a standard
writing test, just so others can see what level of writing we are at. I
also had to do a vocabulary test, and a comprehension test. We had the
writing test in the morning, and the vocabulary and comprehension in the
afternoon.
didn’t know. It’s sort of lonely without Dad around.

My Dad’s Short Term Missions Trip
Hi Everybody,
My dad went on a short term missions trip to Watson Lake, Yukon, to Hidden Lakes Bible Camp. He is going with Ken Mahood, another guy from our church. He’ll be gone for a week and coming back the following week. Then I should give you a look ahead as to where were going over the summer
From June 29 – July 9th, We’ll be camping at Bear Lake, and visiting my Aunt Marge and Uncle Alvin. From July 10 – 23, we will be camping at Molberly Lake while we take our turns at Camp Sagitawa. The boys, TIm and Andrew, are going to CS. Then I, Matt, am going to CS. We’ll be returning home, and then going to the Peace Country Gospel Jamboree from July 30, & 31. Then in August, were not sure yet.

Camp Cameron UPDATE contd
Hello
The teacher just told us yesterday that she found out that we would not be going to Camp Cameron. Instead, she said we could use our 20.00 to put toward another field trip. I am very disappointed by this, since we are not going to Camp Cameron Some people are really disappointed because they had never been to Camp Cameron before. I was also disappointed, cause I was looking forward to going a second time. I’ve went with my band class once previously.

Camp Cameron UPDATE
Hello,
We sill haven’t gone to Camp Cameron, and there’s only two weeks of school left. I hope we get a spot for Camp Cameron soon. Many people in my class have never been to Camp Cameron before, and will be really disappointed if we don’t get to go there.
We went to Camp Sagitawa over the last weekend. It took almost 4 hours to drive there, and only 2 hours to get back. We took two different routes going there and coming back. The reason we went to C.S. was because we had our church’s family camp. We had a great time. There was games, food, and singing by the campfire. I really enjoyed my weekend.
I have two big assignments due tomorrow. I let you know if I get them done on time. I really need to work on one of the assignments, but the other one is basically finished. Both assignment are for SS. or social studies. I hope i’ll get them done in time!

Camp Cameron POSTPONED!?
Yes, it’s true. Our Camp Cameron trip was postponed. The whole class was upset. Even the teacher was disappointed. The principal came in and told us that the trip had been postponed due to the fact that the conselour was ill. They tried their best to find a replacement but couldn’t In return, they promised a spot for us before the end of June. As I said before, we were all disappointed.
Camp Cameron
Hello Everyone,
I will be going to Camp Cameron from June 1st – 2nd. I have only been to Camp Cameron once in the past, which was in the winter sometime. I went there earlier this year with my Beginner Band class. This time, I will be going with my school class. I am going to enjoy going to Camp Cameron in the summer time.
I am really excited. We will be playing M.I. (Mission Impossible) the first night. We will also be going swimming if the weather’s nice. We are also planning a hiking trip to Hidden Lake, a lake near the camp. We also will be having hot chocolate and s’mores for snacks. Wouldn’t this make you excited.
Camp Cameron is our school district’s ‘outdoor education studies center’. It has no power power, just solar power, and a genorator. It also has propane lanterns. It has been really hot recently, so it will probably be really nice there. We sleep in dorms. With 15 feet long bunk-beds that are ment to sleep more than one person. This place also only has outhouses. It’s probably not one of the best camp’s yoiu’ve ever been too.
The teacher told us that we’d have to find buddies for Camp Cameron. My partner was Dan. He was also a band student. He was basically my only choice because we must stick with our buddies twenty-four/seven. Dan was not going on the Canoeing activity, and neither was I, so we were partners. Than only two other people who were not going canoeing were Brain and Josh, who are like best friends almost.
Keeping you updated,
